Philadelphia University, Manufacturing Alliance of Philadelphia and the Department of Commerce, City of Philadelphia invites all city textile manufacturers and fashion designers to attend a special networking event.

Instead students with a passion for fashion, design and textiles found a place to call home in the FCS department.

Last October, the Manufacturing Alliance of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Commerce Department brought together old line manufacturers and young designers at Globe Dye Works, a former textile factory.

This gathering began discussions resulting in new customers and new projects.

Erin has a bachelor’s degree in photography from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston and a master’s in book arts and printmaking from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

The University houses more than 20 labratories and studios for hands on experience in interior design, engineering, textile design, fashion design, graphic design, and industrial design.
